Public Economics
Health Economics
I am an ENSAE professor, a CREST researcher, and a CEPR research fellow in the Industrial Organization program. My research lies in the fields of industrial economics, public finance (taxation) and health economics. I have a long-standing interest in the organization and regulation of healthcare industries. My work explores the functioning of competition and how public intervention can correct market failures. I advise or have advised various government agencies or research institutions on competition and healthcare policies. At three different points in my career, I have been working with the French competition authority, notably as its chief economist and as a part-time member (judge) of its College.
